The Nigerian Central Bank on Tuesday said it would no longer sell foreign currency to the Bureau de changing operators.
Governor of CBN, Mr. Godwin Emfiele announced this at the end of the meeting of the monetary policy committee held at the CBN headquarters in Abuja.
The Governor also said that CBN would channel foreign exchange sales to the bank subsequently, adding that all banks must make a teller point for that purpose.
He also said CBN would no longer process new applications for BDC licenses.
