It was captured on video during the final moments of Sylvester Junior, a 12-year-old pupil at Dowen College in Lagos State, who was beaten to death by his classmates for refusing to join a cult. The footage has since gained widespread attention online.
On Thursday, a person named Perrie, who claimed to be a relative of the dead, posted the footage to his Twitter account.
A video of the 12-year-old boy shows him writhing in pain and bleeding from his mouth. His teeth appear to be broken, and he has some sort of candida Albicans infection on the tip of his lips, according to the video.
They were heard cursing all of them who had caused their son so much suffering while they were massaging him.
"He was always moaning about his throat and stomach," says the doctor. He said that he had been offered something to drink.
The deceased, according to the young guy who took to Twitter under the handle @perrisonoromoni, was beaten to death after refusing to submit to peer pressure to join a cult, the young man claimed.
The deceased, according to him, identified the names of five people who were responsible for the anguish before finally succumbing to his injuries on Tuesday.

While waiting for a response, the school stated that the deceased had been injured while playing football and that he received rapid medical assistance from the school's resident nurse as a result.
Following that, the student complained of hip pain and was seen again, this time by a doctor and a nurse, before being escorted to his home, according to the statement, which was released.
The school also stated that it had conducted a preliminary investigation, which revealed that there had been no instances of bullying, and that it has policies that are highly anti-cultist.
According to the school, there is a very amicable interaction between the family and the institution.
